Weight, Speed, Area

14 August 2019

.
Lift = Speed x Area x Lift Coefficient
and
Speed = Lift / (Area x Lift Coefficient)
Area = Lift / (Speed x Lift Coefficient)
etc.

Lift = Weight when model is neither climbing nor sinking. Therefore,
Weight = Speed x Area x Lift Coefficient.

Assuming that thrust force is freely available to match the induced and parasitic drag forces:
Increased Weight requires more Lift. To increase Lift, one or more of the 3 factors has to increase. The 3 factors being Speed, Area and Lift Coefficient.

For slower speed, the model needs to reduce its Weight, increase the Area and/or increase the Lift coefficient
